October 2011 Newsletter

October has been another month filled with many answers to prayer!

Jones Mwengo, our Child Protection Officer, had hip surgery and it went very well! His recovery is going faster than anticipated and he surprised us by coming into the office today! He will be back with us full time in 3 weeks. Please continue to pray for a speedy recovery. We need him at Village of Hope!

  • About VOH Malawi

    The Village of Hope exists to provide "HOPE...FOR THEIR FUTURE" - a place of safety for orphans and for impoverished children, in response to the overwhelming AIDS statistics in the southern Africa region today. As a joint project of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada and the Pentecostal Assemblies of Malawi, the dream is to 12 orphan homes (with 8 children in each), a school, church, farm, medical clinic and community outreach.
