June 2011 Newsletter

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding.  In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths”.

The last couple of months have been a real challenge for us  –physically and in our work  – but we have been leaning on these verses and God has remained faithful!  God  IS blessing and leading the Village of Hope… (read more via the .pdf below)

May 2011 Newsletter

Praise God!  We are very excited to report that we now have eight fully occupied homes!  That is 65 children (our oldest child, Asha, is at boarding school).  Village of Hope is a very lively place filled with happy children…. (read more via the .pdf below)

March 2011 Newsletter

We have once again experienced many blessings from the Lord during the past month. We were expecting visitors and brought the VOH van to our home so everyone could travel together. However, when we tried to start the vehicle, it would not start. Close inspection revealed some damaged lines. It soon became clear that earlier someone had tried to steal parts but had not completed their work. We are thankful for the Lord’s protection while David drove from VOH to our home…  (Read more in the original .pdf newsletter below!)

VOH MALAWI Newsletter February 2011

The month of January was an exciting and emotional time at VOH Malawi Trust. Early in the month we had visitors from Germany. This was an emotional time for the visitors. Mr. Georg Hausler and his group came to see the now completed Multi-Purpose Building which was dedicated to the memory of Georg’s son, Berndt….  (read full newsletter below)
